You Know You're Pregnant When...
You find yourself really tempted to buy the meatball and mozzarella Hot Pocket in the vending machine at work. Any other time in life, this would be a purchase made out of extreme hunger and desperation. Today, it would be a purchase made out of sheer pleasure, and perhaps a little bit of hunger. Fear not, the Hot Pocket did not win out. I opted for the free pear in my work bag.

The List
Joey and I have officially started "the list." Like many, we've got more projects than we do time and money, but just the same we're trying to knock a few of them off the list before the babies come.
A couple weeks ago we (a.k.a. Joey) moved the TV, computer, office supplies, etc. out of the babies' bedroom and into ours. The babies' room now looks like it is expecting a baby, or two! It was a small step, but we had to start somewhere.
Last Saturday we pulled out the big guns and tried to get the rest of the list done. I was naive enough to think we'd get it all done in one day - HA! Just the same, we were able to stain our front door, stain our storm door, hang Christmas lights, clean out and reorganize the garage, get one of our cribs fully functioning (I put it together as best as I could and well, my best wasn't so good...maybe that should be another post), and start going through a large pile of papers that were long overdue to be filed.
It felt really good to get so much done and thankfully, we've also got this Saturday to continue working on, and possibly complete our list!

I Knew I Was Missing Something...
I've been thinking that I needed another pair of maternity pants, since I really only wear the same two pairs all week. Little did I know such a hot item would be available to me as a pregnant lady...

That's right - LEATHER maternity pants! According to the ebay seller they are, "Black Leather Custom Made Maternity Pants" and "The leather is very supple and soft."
Two words my friends: OW! OW!
What could be more sexy than a pregnant lady in leather pants?! Probably nothing, but I could always try pairing them with a tube top...

Stuffed
Like quite a few pregnant women, I have a stuffy nose almost all the time! It's not terribly bothersome, but I wouldn't exactly say I'm enjoying it either. Since I'm mostly breathing through my mouth, it gets so dry that have to constantly be drinking water. Conclusion: stuffy noses must be God's way of keeping pregnant women hydrated.

I Heart Craigslist...
After hours of scouring Craigslist for the perfect items, our babies' room is fully furnished as of last night! Two cribs and mattresses, a changing dresser combo with a hutch, a regular dresser and a SWEET glider with an ottoman all for a nice uber low price! I estimate that we saved well over $1,000 simply by buying used! The best part about the pieces - despite coming from 4 different homes, they all match! Once we get things more organized, I just may have to post a picture!
Other Craigslist love... our matching car seat carriers, bases and double stroller (it holds the carriers when they are small and can be used as a normal stroller when they are bigger), all for a fraction of the cost! They were used for a whopping 6 months by a great fellow mom of twins, so they look brand new!
I love getting great deals! I'm already looking forward to garage sale season!
