32 Week Appointment

Yesterday we had our 32 week appointment and things are continuing to look pretty good. Baby A is weighing in at 4lbs 6oz, with a heart rate of 140. Baby B is weighing in at 4lbs 12oz, with a heart rate of 136. Baby B is behaving and has remained vertex. Baby A however, seems quite content to be breech, so he/she has not moved one bit - little stinker! It's not impossible that they would switch or that Baby A would flip, but it's becoming less and less likely each day. This means, I'll likely be having a c-section, the one thing I was adamant about not having when I found out we were first pregnant - HA! It's funny how things can change though, as I honestly don't mind too much any more. Just get them out, that's all I ask :)

As for me, if you saw my last post, it's quite clear that I'm not getting any smaller! I measured yesterday at 41.5 cm, a.k.a. past full term. My doctor warned me a few appointments back, that I may make the 50's club with these twins, as in 50 HUGE CENTIMETERS! I'll be honest, I think the little belly-rippers have done enough for my stomach, but it ceased to be about what I would prefer a long time ago, so I guess I'll just have the let them get bigger :) I played my little game before our appointment and guessed the babies would be at 4.5 lbs each and that I'd measure at 40cm. I was wrong on all three accounts, but close enough to still feel good about my guessing skills :)

For those of you wondering about the wedding this weekend, (Joey's brother is getting married this weekend in Wyoming), I did receive the okay to go from our doctor, but I'm opting out anyway. Two long car rides over three and half days just isn't appealing to this large pregnant lady. I've caught a nasty cold anyway, so no sense is passing that on to the masses.
