Today we hit the 35-week mark, which is a point I wasn't sure I'd make, as many twins are born before this time. The average time when twins are born is around 36 weeks, but I doubt ours will come then. As much as I would like for them to come out now, it would be great if they made the 37-week mark, which I believe is considered full term for a pregnancy with one baby.
We had an ultrasound on Monday and they're both doing really well. They both got all their points on their biophysical profiles and are both still measuring as though they were all by themselves in there! Baby A was estimated at 5 lbs, 3 oz and Baby B was estimated at 5 lbs, 6 oz. The most surprising thing we learned at this appointment was that Baby A is now head down and Baby B is now breech! We were told that the likelihood of Baby A turning after 34 weeks in the pregnancy was not good, so we had more or less planned on needing to have a C-section. In a perfect world Baby B would also turn back to being head down, but as long as Baby A is head down we can still try for a normal birth. Since this appointment they have continued to move like crazy, so I wouldn't be surprised if they have already found different positions now! I guess we really won't know for sure until the day comes. :)
On Tuesday we had a regular appointment with our doctor and there really isn't much to report. They both have good heart rates and my beach ball belly continues to grow - 45 cm and counting! I'll work on getting an updated picture up here soon.
This is Joey. Jamie asked me to edit this post, so I'm taking the opportunity to let you know that she's looking mighty fine! She forgot to mention that her doctor AND her husband AND her sister AND many others have been telling her how well she is doing and how good she looks.
See, she thinks this blog is all about her kids and she doesn't like to brag up on herself. She occasionally posts a picture of herself, but only when prompted by friends. It took those same friends and her husband just to get her to start a blog in the first place. Her humility and grace are beautiful and I'm so proud to call her my wife! I love you Jamie! You're one good-looking pregnant woman!

Yay for spinning babies! And Yay for hubbies who heap the praise on their wives.
