In addition to being thankful for their size and health, we've been able to really enjoy our last few weeks as a family of two! Not knowing if each day would be our last together without kids has been fun, as we've allowed ourselves to be a little more free with our time and spending. I can't even count how many times we've eaten out this month! Joey has truly spoiled me rotten. I'm always dropped off and picked up at every possible door, he helps me in and out of the car, holds my hand in icy parking lots, carries bags, helps me with dishes, cleans up things around the house (he even cleaned the bathroom this week - that is love!), gives me lots of back rubs, pushes me so I can get out of bed, etc. You get the idea - he's been great!
I know some of you are curious about my size, so I'm willing to humor you and post yet another picture of my ginormous beach ball belly. I decided to take this picture wearing a shirt that I wore in my 24-week picture, just so I could compare the two of them. As you can see, my clothes really don't fit well anymore, but I refuse to spend money on something I may only wear for a couple of weeks or even days!

Jamie!! We talk about you almost everyday! We all huddled around the computer to see your new picture (me, Jared and Nate) and agreed that it hardly even looks real (the belly), cuz the rest of you is so normal size! You look amazing! As a fellow pregger, isn't it crazy that the human body can stretch that far without ripping!?! You are a trooper and look great Jamie!
LOL! My brother and I just huddled around to look at your picture, too, AND commented that your belly doesn't even look real!
(I'm sorry if you're tired of hearing that...)
You really do look FANTASTIC, and I'm so happy for you that your babies are FULL TERM(!!!) and oh, so healthy! Praise God!
I can't WAIT to hear your birth story. Praying for you in these last few *hours* of pregnancy. :)
I'm so glad you and Joey are getting to spend special time alone together. That's so important!
p.s. SJ just pointed at your picture and said, "Mama!" Haha...we'll work on that.
Jamie,
You look great! It sounds like your husband is doing an awesome job taking care of you.
I think about you everyday and wonder if you are in labor or had the babies. I can't wait to hear about the babies arrival...it was fun to go on the twins pregnancy journey with you!
Lol, thanks for all the comments guys! It was funny to hear that it hardly looks real, considering it's the only prego belly I've ever known! Someone told me the other day that my belly more resembles when a little kid sticks a ball up their shirt to look pregnant, than an actual real belly. And no, I'm not tired of hearing it - moreso just tired of wearing it! :)
Hello Friend!! I think about you and your little ones everyday! Thanks for the updates! Praying for you guys these next few weeks (or days!)
Oh Jamie! I feel for you! You sound so upbeat and positive though! Good for you! Are you hearing a lot of "you're STILL here??!!" I hated that! It's amazing how long those twins have stayed in there! I cannot believe how much they way! Carys weighed 7lbs.4oz. and I was TOTALLY ready to be done being pregnant with her and she was only one!
And way to go Joey for being such a wonderful husband!:)
Love seeing these photos of you. Love it that you'll be bringing two little lives into the world very very soon! (If at all possible, could you wait until after Abby's play tomorrow afternoon, though?) :)
