Carson and Keira had their 2 month appointment this week and everything went very well. Joey can no longer refer to Keira as a "tank" since she is now the smaller one! Carson has grown 3 inches since birth, so he is now 23 inches long and weighs 11lbs 1oz. Keira has grown 2 inches since birth, so she is now 23 inches as well and weighs 10lbs 14oz. Before going into their appointment I was having some fun with the camera. Keira was much more photogenic, so she got more photos taken! :)

Despite the temptation, I won't make excuses for my poor photography skills in this photo, as well as the one below, but she was just too cute leave these unpublished. I LOVE her little grin and wrinkles! The cute toenails were a team effort with Aunt Jessy. She's wearing my favorite nail polish. It's the color I had when Joey bought me a manicure and pedicure for my birthday a couple years ago. I'm pretty sure it's the color she would have wanted to wear had I asked her! ;)
These smiles (and her brother's smiles as well) are the fuel for motherhood!

Note to Carson: I think you look absolutely adorable and don't see why your mommy had to favor Keira and post more pics of her. Don't worry lil buddy...Aunt Dana will take PLENTY of you this weekend! ;)
So cute! The toe nails too! Can't imagine the effort that must have taken! I can barely cut their nails, much less paint them!:)
This might be my favorite picture sequence of them yet. :)
The toe nails were a delicate process. I fed her and gently held her foot while my sister attempted to paint them. There were plenty of "oops!" and laughs during the process, but we eventually succeeded. It is definitely a two man job!
